About us

A small, private practice — built around the water

Epstein Hunt Physiotherapy was founded by two physiotherapists who wanted to combine the healing potential of aquatic therapy with thoughtful, hands-on land-based care.

Why a heated pool

A heated pool changes what physiotherapy can do. Buoyancy reduces joint load, hydrostatic pressure can help with swelling and circulation, and warm water lets muscles soften enough for movement that feels too punishing on land. For chronic pain, paediatric neuro work, post-surgical recovery, and balance work in later life — the water often opens a door that land alone cannot.

What kind of practice this is

We're a small, private practice. Two practitioners. One pool. A handful of quiet treatment rooms. We see one patient at a time and we take the time the work needs.

Our care is evidence-based — both Perla and Sasha invest heavily in ongoing training. It's also personal. No two patients are alike, so neither are our treatments.

Where we are

18 Leigh Ave, Fairvale, Johannesburg. The facility includes a heated pool, change rooms, and private treatment rooms. We're easy to find with safe on-site parking.
