Land physiotherapy
Hands-on, evidence-based physiotherapy in our calm treatment rooms — manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation.
What land physiotherapy is
Land physiotherapy is the form of physiotherapy most people picture: an in-room assessment, hands-on manual therapy where it helps, and an exercise programme built around your goals. It is grounded in current evidence and delivered one-on-one in a private treatment room.
What a session looks like
- A thorough assessment. Movement, strength, joint health, and any relevant history.
- Hands-on care where it adds value. Soft-tissue work, joint mobilisation, guided release.
- Exercise prescription. A small, specific set of movements you can do between sessions.
- A plan that adapts. We adjust each session based on how you respond.
Who delivers it
Sasha Hunt brings advanced neuromuscular-skeletal training to land-based musculoskeletal care, geriatric rehabilitation, and comprehensive recovery programmes. Perla Epstein delivers land-based care for children and adults with neurological needs, often alongside aquatic work.
Aquatic and land together
Many of our patients benefit from a programme that uses both surfaces — the land room for hands-on assessment and progressions, the pool for the work that feels too painful or too heavy on land. Where this fits, we’ll suggest it.
